USA: Great Wolf Resorts Announces Rubén A. Rodríguez as New CEO

US-based Great Wolf Resorts Inc.®, operator of indoor waterpark resorts, announced Rúben A. Rodríguez as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 22, 2015. Rodríguez, 52 years of age, has broad experience across several leading hospitality and consumer focused companies. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Vice President, Ship Operations for Carnival Cruise Lines. Before joining Carnival, Mr. Rodríguez worked for The Boston Consulting Group, The Charles Schwab Corporation and eToys. With effect from the end of this year, Great Wolf’s current CEO, Kimberly K. Schaefer, will assume the role of Chief Brand Officer and will transition to the company’s board in early 2016. “I am impressed by the great brand and compelling business model that Great Wolf has built under Kim’s leadership.
