USA: Madame Tussauds Orlando to Get Two New Figures

On time with the US film release of “Kung Fu Panda 3™” on January 29, Madame Tussauds Orlando unveiled the wax figure of “Po” the panda, one of the popular film’s main characters. More than seven square meters of synthetic black and four square meters of synthetic white fur were used to create the wax panda, which weighs approximately 72 kilograms.

Apart from Po, another new wax figure will soon be presented at the wax museum. On the occasion of Neymar’s 24th birthday this past Friday, the Madame Tussauds team develops a figure of the world-famous Brazilian soccer star. The forward, who currently plays for Spain’s FC Barcelona and the Brazilian national team, will unveil his wax double in Barcelona this spring, before it will be transferred to Orlando. Neymar was very involved with the creation of the figure. He chose the figure's pose to reflect his goal celebration from the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. “It is truly an honor to have such an important moment of my life captured in wax by the amazing team at Madame Tussauds,” Neymar says.
