Today Mine, Tomorrow Yours?

BBC News reports that the private equity firm Blackstone has sold off their property assets of some of its Tussauds theme parks to entrepreneur Nick Laslau. Blackstone acquired the Tussauds Group and merged it with its own Merlin Entertainments portfolio just a few weeks ago. The sites being sold are Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, Thorpe Park and Madame Tussauds. According to statements from the company, the deal includes a 35-year tenancy agreement and Merlin intends to continue to operate and invest in these parks. (eap)
