Turkey: DOF Robotics Launches Immersive Space Adventure “Mission Space“

Istanbul-based DOF Robotics, which specialises in the production of simulator attractions, recently announced its latest product development, “Mission Space“. This is an immersive walk-through experience that invites visitors on a 30- to 40-minute-long journey into space in eight different rooms.

Guests, who will be entering the experience in teams of six persone, will first be outfitted with a spacesuit and helmet in an entrance area before going on their space mission. The museum-like preshow area will then educate visitors about milestones of space. In the following six areas, the guests then go on a space mission, which has been made particularly immersive through the use of no less than four different simulators, which simulate flights through space or travel on the surface of a planet. In two different “Research Labs“, the “astronauts“ also learn many facts about the respective planet and conduct experiments.

Every five minutes a new team of six will be able to start their journey so a daily throughput of 720 persons can be generated. For the installation of a Mission Space attraction, the manufacturer requires a ground space of at least 1,000 square metres and a ceiling height of at least four metres.
