USA/Canada: First Triotech Hyper Ride Dark Ride in North America to Be Realized at Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls

In EAP issue 6/2021, we presented the details of the new “Hyper Ride” dark ride product development from Canadian provider Triotech. Now, together with the future operator, the company announced the project under which the first implementation of this new attraction in North America will take place. Under the name “Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride”, the brand-new ride (featuring seven interactive screens, five carts as well as programable digital theming on a total area of around 560 square meters) will add an exciting highlight to the leisure offerings of the Clifton Hill tourist destination in Niagara Falls/Ontario starting next summer season. Located just a stone’s throw from the famous Niagara Falls, the Clifton Hill tourist destination attracts millions of guests from the region and around the world every year.

“As a long-standing partner with Triotech, Clifton Hill has introduced many new attraction technologies to the visitors of Niagara Falls over the years”, stated Harry Oakes, President of HOCO, Clifton Hill’s parent company. He added: “I am personally very excited to be deploying this new attraction that will complement our wide offering.”

Triotech President and CEO Ernest Yale adds, “We have worked with the team at Clifton Hill for many years on several successful attractions. For us, it is only fitting to deploy this Hyper Ride, with its unique motion technology, working alongside a solid partner in one of the world’s most iconic site.”

Triotech has just received an “IAAPA Brass Ring Award” for its Hyper Ride, which is being showcased this week at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando. (eap)
