“Rides” Award for Bobbejaanland

Bobbejaanland, the large Belgian amusement park, has been chosen as the “most innovative park of 2006” by users of the Dutch website www.rides.nl. This vote was surely influenced by the two new attractions at Bobbejaanland this year: “Desperado City” opened in April, an interactive 3D virtual reality game that up to 60 people can play at the same time (see EAP issue 3/2006) and a world premiere from Alterface. Later in June, the re-launched roller coaster “Dreamcatcher” was then also opened to the public. (eap)
