Poland’s Second Majaland Theme Park of the Plopsa Group Opens in Warsaw Today

Today, the official opening of the new indoor theme park Majaland Warsaw takes place in Poland, where visitors can now experience more than 25 attractions. After opening the first “Majaland” theme park in Poland (and thus the first ever Plopsa park outside Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany) in 2018 with Majaland Kownaty very close to the German-Polish border, the Belgian Plopsa Group is now pleased to open its second Majaland location in Poland.

The indoor park, which was built for an investment of 30 million euros and also includes a complementary outdoor area with individual attractions, is located just a few kilometers east of Warsaw and is part of the Góraszka project, which also envisages the development of a large shopping center in the town of the same name. The park’s visitor offer, which is especially aimed at families with children aged two to ten, includes many attractions known from the other Polish park, such as a Force Two roller coaster from Zierer in a Vic the Viking design (“Rollercoaster Wikingów). The outdoor area of the park is thematically completely dedicated to the “Super Wings” series and includes a water playground (by iPlay Water Attractions) as well as “Jett Flight”, an Aero Top Jet attraction from Zamperla, a first within the Plopsa Group.

In the Czech capital, with Majaland Praha another Plopsa indoor park was opened at the end of 2021. (eap)
