France: Puy du Fou Continues to Expand Further

During today’s official inauguration ceremony of Puy du Fou’s new walk through attraction “Le Mystère de La Pérouse“, park president, Nicolas de Villiers spoke about the future development of the company. He revealed that from now until 2030, a total of eight new shows, four new hotels as well as three new theme park projects worldwide (including Spain and China) are planned to be realized. Read our detailed report about the new walk through attraction in EAP issue 3/2018. Located in Les Epesses, the French theme park welcomed more than 2.2 million visitors last year.

Furthermore, the project coming up in Spain (cf. EAP news f. 04 May 2017), which will see the creation of a night-time show (2019) and later (2020) the opening of a family park with historical theme, is right now in its final stages of securing financing. Construction works are expected to begin this summer. (eap)
