Spain: Fernando Eiroa Stepped Down from All Positions at Parques Reunidos

In an official statement Parques Reunidos has published last week, the Spanish operating group announces that Fernando Eiroa (photo) has stepped down from his position as the company’s CEO, member of the Board and all other functions he held with the group with immediate effect. Richard Golding, Non-executive Chairman of the Board, has taken over as interim CEO to provide continuity of leadership.

“When I look back to all the great things that have happened since I started in 2004, I feel humbled by the unconditional support of my coworkers and the trust and understanding of the Board, the investors and the shareholders that made all this possible,” said Fernando Eiroa, who assumed the position as Parques Reunidos’ CEO in 2016 (cf. EAP news f. Feb 3rd, 2016). Golding added, “After many years working with Fernando in Parques Reunidos I can only say that he has played a major role in the company’s success story.”

Parques Reunidos has started the search for a successor to Eiroa, who retires from his positions at the company after almost 15 years. (eap)
