IAAPA EMEA Reports Successful Winter Forum Event on Tenerife

With more than 60 participants from 14 countries, new networking contacts and best practice examples, IAAPA EMEA – the European office of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions – takes a positive stock of its “Winter Forum” event, which took place on the Canary Islands/Spain at the end of January this year (cf. EAP News from Dec 10th, 2018). The versatile program included behind-the-scenes tours at Loro Parque zoo and Siam Park water park. During the seminar program attendees learned more about crisis communication, with James Crampton (Merlin Entertainments), Michael Kreft von Byern (Europa-Park) and Christoph Kiessling (Loro Parque/Siam Park) as speakers.

“IAAPA was thrilled to host the EMEA Winter Forum on the Canary Islands for the first time ever. The event brought together industry professionals to experience the area’s world class attractions and to learn from each other. IAAPA strives to host valuable events for our members, and we hope this year’s participants left with new connections and key learnings to apply to their organizations,” said Jakob Wahl, Executive Director & Vice President, IAAPA EMEA.

The industry association also invites its European members to the upcoming IAAPA EMEA Spring Summit, which will take place from 14th-15th May this year in Finland. For more information about the program and registration, please click here. (eap)
