New Ride for SeaWorld’s Aquatica

SeaWorld’s Aquatica which opened its doors in January 2008 in Orlando (we reported in EAP 5/2007) comes up with a new ride: Two years after its opening, the water park adds its first attraction – the “Omaka Rocka” which means “rocking river”. This ride is a totally new funnel slide from ProSlide. The innovation will share a tower with the current “Whanau Way”. Riders will travel with two-person-tubes through two slides and a set of three funnels apiece which cater for a half-pipe feeling. There will be no height restrictions for the slide which is sold by ProSlide under the name of “Topsy-Turvy”. (eap)
