New Branded Park for Spain?

According to a study done by BBDO Consulting, Real Madrid is the most valuable football club in the world, estimated at 1.06 billion euros. To utilise the club’s potential, its new president, the building contractor Florentino Perez, is planning on building an amusement park on the 120-hectare large training grounds.
“We want to tell the story of Real Madrid in a Disney-like manner. We’d like to show Real Madrid’s best moments at the park, using the latest technology. The project will indeed cost around 300 million euros, but we won’t have any problem making it pay off,” stated Perez in an interview with the daily Spanish sports newspaper AS. It is still uncertain when the park is to open. (eap)
