USA: Six Flags Expands Board of Directors

Six Flags, one of the largest regional park operators in the world with currently 26 leisure facilities in the USA, Canada and Mexico, just announced that B. Ben Baldanza, CEO of Diemacher LLC, an advisory firm, and Selim Bassoul, former CEO and Chairman of Middleby Corporation, a manufacturer of food service and processing equipment, were appointed to its board of directors.

Ben Baldanza (58), who holds an M.A. in Public Administration from Princeton University and who was CEO and President of Spirit Airlines (2005-2016), will bring his expertise in revenue management and productivity into the Six Flags board. Selim Bassoul will provide counsel in the fields of culinary, consumer infomation and insights, as well as mergers and aquisitions. The 63-year-old, who led the Middleby company from 2001 to 2019, holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
