“FahrSchule” at Autostadt Wolfsburg

In November 2008 a new attraction opened at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg: the “FahrSchule”, a driving school with driving simulators. The well-known Braunschweig-based company Simtec supplied ten New Beetle kids’ cars for the ride, which were created in collaboration with Daywalker Studios GmbH of Cologne. Children between the ages of five and eleven can experience the world from the perspective of a car driver on this ride. The New Beetle driving simulators are equipped with an interactive video control and, apart from providing plenty of driving fun, also allow the kids to gain some basic knowledge of road traffic behaviour.
