Australia/France: Zero Latency & Ubisoft Partner to Create New Immersive VR Experience

Zero Latency VR, the developer and operator of free-roam VR attractions headquartered in Australia, and France-based video game developer Ubisoft today announced their partnership to create a new free-roam VR gaming experience. Currently in development, this experience is slated for release in 2021, available exclusively at Zero Latency VR venues worldwide. The experience will be based on a “AAA” Ubisoft brand (“AAA”: informal classification in the video gaming industry with a high development budget and high investments in promotion & marketing campaigns).

“We are always on the lookout to propose innovative and compelling ways for gamers and non-gamers alike to explore our worlds. We have successfully adapted several franchises to location-based VR before and are excited to work with Zero Latency VR on this new experience,” said Deborah Papiernik, VP New Business, Ubisoft.

Tim Ruse, CEO of Zero Latency, adds: “We’re excited to be partnering with Ubisoft to bring a AAA brand to the Zero Latency VR System for the first time. As gamers ourselves, it’s a brand that we’re massive fans of and we’re looking forward to showcasing our new take on it!” (eap)
