GB: Gulliver’s Theme Park Resort Opens Tomorrow in Rotherham

This Saturday, after three years of construction time and a delayed opening date due to the corona pandemic, Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park will welcome guests for the first time (cf. EAP news of 9 May 2017). Located in Rotherham (South Yorkshire), Gulliver’s Valley, will be dedicated to families and will be the fourth park resort of Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts. The attractions such as the “Apalache Falls“ wild water river or the “Ghostly Galleon“ pirate ship, are especially dedicated to children up to 13 years old. Furthermore, the park will offer a variety accomodation facilities, which are differntly themed.

“We are so excited to be finally opening Gulliver’s Valley to the public. The last few months have been tough to say the least - when we started work on the park, we didn’t ever expect to be faced with a global pandemic, but I am proud to say our team has risen to the challenge and worked hard to enable us to open, just one month later than we initially planned,“ says Julie Dalton, managing director of the family-run Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts.

Due to the current measures, to provide the Covid-19 virus from spreadding, some parts of the park such as the indoor soft play area will remain close until further notice. We will provide you with a detailed story about the new Gulliver’s park in one of our upcoming issues of EAP magazine. (eap)
