Spain: Parques Reunidos Appoints Pascal Ferracci New CEO

Long-term Center Parcs Europe manager Pascal Ferracci (photo) takes over as new CEO of Madrid-based Parques Reunidos group as of September 14th this year, following in the position of Jesús Fernández, who has been serving as the group’s CEO during the past months. Previously, there was a change on management level in early 2019, when former Parques Reunidos’ head José Díaz took over the role as CEO from Fernando Eiroa (cf. EAP news of 29 Jan 2019). The now newly appointed CEO Pascal Ferracci most recently served as CEO of Center Parks Europe, a business unit of France’s Pierre & Vacances, where he started his career 20 years ago as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Since then, he has held various leadership positions within the group.

More than 60 leisure attractions worldwide – theme parks, zoos, water parks, visitor aquariums and FECs – are managed by Parques Reunidos. In Germany, the group’s portfolio includes Movie Park Germany, the Belantis theme park and the Tropical Islands Resort. Parques Reunidos itself is owned by the investment consortium of Piolin BidCo (cf. EAP News of 26 Apr 2019). (eap)
