GB: Planning Permission Granted for Game of Thrones® Studio Tour

© HBO The planned new visitor experience Game of Thrones®  Studio Tour, which will be dedicated to the successful TV series “Game of Thrones“ (GoT) produced by HBO, has received its planning permission by the city council of Banbridge, a small city  in Northern Ireland located between Dublin and Belfast. HBO Licensing & Retail and Linen Mill Studios are collaborating on the development of the interactive walk through experience. Visitors will be able to enjoy original movie sets, scenes and costumes from the fantasy series and be immersed into the world of “Westeros“.

On a ground space of some 9,300 square metres in the Linen Mill Studios, which is one of the original film locations of GoT, the studio tour will show not only props but also the work behind the scenes. Some 600,000 guests are expected to visit the studio tour every year. (eap)
