Opened: Hotel Gran BelVeder in Scharbeutz/Timmendorfer Strand

After two and a half years of construction, the luxury beach and wellness hotel Gran BelVeder opened its doors on 25 July 2008. The four-star superior hotel is located right on the seafront, in one of the most picturesque coastal areas between Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand. The construction company, Stork from Paderborn, Germany, offered everything from a single source – from planning and finance to implementation and running the hotel. The project, worth 17 million euros, has 170 beds and is open all year round. Hotel guests can access the adjoining “Ostsee-Therme” Spa wellness and water world through a glass corridor. (eap)
