Germany: Spree Interactive Launches New “Cyber Blaster“ VR Game for Bumper Car Attractions

Germany’s Spree Interactive specialist company for free-roaming Virtual Reality attractions, who had realized the “Steampunk VR Scooter“ VR bumper car attraction at Schloss Thurn in 2019 (in cooperation with VR Coaster, cf. EAP news f. 17 April 2019), now introduces a new VR game for bumper car systems into the market. “Cyber Blaster“ is the name of the new application, which immerses riders into a virtual environment where they need to battle against the dangerous and unknown “techno virus“. For the experience, riders are equipped with VR headsets.

“There has always been a lot of interest in our VR bumper car solution. Many clients have been requesting a science fiction themed game and Cyber Blaster delivers,“ says Jonathan Nowak Delgado, Co-founder and Managing Director of Spree Interactive. “We are delighted to bring Cyber Blaster to a number of locations over the summer months.“

This new VR game, which is available as a turnkey solution including a bumper car system from I.E. Park Soli Car or as an add-on application for existing attractions, was developed by Spree Interactive in cooperation with Pixomondo. (eap)
