USA: BATMAN: The Ride Opens at Six Flags Fiesta Texas As First 4D Free Wing Coaster Worldwide

On May 23, 2015 the first-ever 4D Free Wing Coaster “BATMAN™: The Ride” debuted at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Thrill-seekers can now fly through the air like Batman with a feeling of weightlessness as the gondolas of the rollercoaster rotate freely hanging next to the track. During their journey, passengers flip head-over-heels four to eight times (cp. EAP, Issue 6/2014). This ensures a varied ride experience in the five carriages of the 36-meter high and 310-meter long rollercoaster supplied by S&S-Sansei. Even the queue area of the new attraction has been integrated into the Batman storyline including the world-famous Batmobile and Bat-Signal. (eap)
