China/Finland: Miia Taehtinen Takes Over as Country Manager at Lappset Creative China Inc.

Lappset Creative – a business unit of Finland’s Lappset Group, which is specialized in themed attractions and play structures – has recently appointed Miia Taehtinen Country Manager for its subsidiary in Shanghai/China. In her new role Taehtinen, who previously worked as Executive Director at the Chamber of Commerce of Finland in China (also based in Shanghai), will focus on serving Lappset Creative clients and projects of themed attractions throughout the country. Taehtinen holds a master from engineering and has worked in the fields of international business development and strategic growth at different companies, including IKEA and Pöyry Management Consulting.

While Lappset Creative China Inc. (Laibi Shanghai) only serves the theme park business, the current local Lappset distributors will continue working in the field of urban/municipal play grounds and sports equipment. (eap)
