Europa-Park Expects to Pass Five Million Visitor Mark for the First Time

For the first time in its 39-year history, Germany’s Europa-Park in Rust wants to crack the five-million-visitor mark during its upcoming winter opening (22 November 2014 to 11 January 2015). “Shortly before the 40th birthday of Europa-Park in 2015, we have recorded the best year and strongest level of growth in the history of our business. The increase in the number of French visitors alone is significant in comparison to the previous year. We attribute this to the massive success of ” Arthur - In the Minimoys Kingdom,” says CEO Roland Mack. In the summer of 2014, the park welcomed its 100 millionth visitor. And the five theme hotels of Europa-Park are also very popular among visitors with 95 percent of hotel capacity utilized this year. Guests can already look forward to the park’s anniversary year 2015, in which the park will surprise its visitors with new shows and attractions. (eap)
