Platz 1 der Top 100-Sehenswürdigkeiten Deutschlands 2022

Once again, the most popular destinations for foreign tourists in Germany have been identified. In an online survey conducted by the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) between December 2021 and June 2022, around 15,000 international visitors from 30 countries voted for their personal favorites in 2021/2022. Cities, amusement parks and zoos, museums, national parks, nature highlights, castles and palaces, UNESCO World Heritage sites and regions as well as urban highlights were voted among the top 100. Petra Hedorfer, chairwoman of the GNTB’s Executive Board comments:

“For ten years now, the Top 100 ranking has been giving tourist destinations and attractions in Germany a snapshot of their international recognition and popularity online. The lively participation is at the same time a vote for the appeal of the Destination Germany brand in international competition.”
