Germany: New BattleKart Center in Bispingen Offers Interactive Driving Fun à la “Mario Kart”

The electric karts whizz around the track at the new BattleKart Center in Bispingen (Lower Saxony, Germany), in close proximity to the Schumacher Motodrom – the new leisure center, which was realized by Belgian company BattleKart Europe SA and Germany’s RiMO electric kart manufacturer, promises interactive racing adventures à la “Mario Kart“.

While the Motodrom offers classic racing fun in go-karts, the BattleKart Center focuses on interactive gaming experiences. The electric karts are equipped with tablets at the steering wheel, so that drivers can activate various interactive elements projected onto the track in order to get a speed boost or to slow down competitors, for example. Up to twelve guests can participate in this “BattleRace” game. In addition, there are three more play contents to choose from, such as “Battle Soccer“ in which e-kart drivers must transport a virtual ball into the opponent`s goal. Drivers must be at least 1.45 meters tall.

BattleKart Bispingen is the first site of this interactive e-karting fun in Germany. Further facilities are located in Mouscron (B), Kortrijk (B) and Tours (F). (eap)
