Spain: PortAventura Announces Rebranding

Spain's leisure resort PortAventura, consisting of a theme park, a water park, several themed hotels and restaurants, a convention center, a beach club as well as three golf courses, now presents itself under the new brand PortAventura World Parks & Resort. The resort states that the brand was founded with the aim of integrating all business units and strengthening the company's international position in new markets.

In time with the introduction of the new brand, PortAventura has launched a new website a few days ago, which incorporates the latest technology and offers visitors the possibility to discover the overall resort in a digital environment. The multimedia contents are not only adapted to the current services offered by the resort but can also be customized for each visitor thanks to a personal private area. Furthermore, new information with regard to “Ferrari Land”, a new 60,000 square meter theme park expected to open in 2017 (cf. EAP News from May 11, 2015), will be released in a special section of the website within the next months. (eap)
