UK: 7thSense Acquires Bluebox Attractions

The British software and technology company 7thSense, which recently opened another office location in London, announced the acquisition of Bluebox Attractions, a design and consulting firm, which is specialized in AV and immersive technologies. In the course of the acquisition, Mike Ross, founder and CEO of Bluebox Attractions, has taken the position of Principal Systems and Support Engineer at 7thSense with focus on the support in the APAC region. “Having worked with 7thSense products since 2009, Bluebox Attractions has provided specialist experience design, consulting and production services for global theme parks, destination attractions, museums and live events. We are excited to be part of this strategic acquisition which will allow us to bring the many years’ experience of Bluebox Attractions to the rapidly growing 7thSense and Medialon user community,” commented Ross.

Matt Barton, CEO, 7thSense, adds, “As we continue to expand 7thSense product lines, we are thrilled to announce the joining of 7thSense and Bluebox Attractions’ forces to our integrator and end-user base. Exceptional quality, innovation, performance and support are at the core of everything we do, and the addition of Bluebox Attractions’ skill set allows us to continue our highly-focused product support for the APAC region.”

The latest project the two companies have worked on in cooperation was the D.R.E.A.M. Centre, a facility especially designed for children and young people with complex physical disabilities by the Chailey Heritage Foundation, which was awarded with a Thea Award in 2020 (see EAP news of 20 Nov 2020).
