USA: Ryze Adventure Park St. Louis with New Miniature Golf Course

The new 18-hole miniature golf course at RYZE Adventure Park in St. Louis, which surrounds the climbing tower, challenges players young and old.

Located in Maryland Heights, a city in St. Louis County, in the US state of Missouri RYZE Adventure Park has a diverse outdoor adventure offering, including a four-story climbing tower with various obstacles with a zipline as well as a Ninja course for kids.

For the current outdoor season, the park expanded its visitor offerings with a new mini-golf course. The company Adventure Golf & Sports (AGS) was commissioned with the implementation of the 18-hole course. They implemented their “Modular Advantage®” solution, a modular, cost-effective outdoor miniature golf course system with sand-filled turf that is water-permeable, unlike traditional concrete courses. This serves the longevity of the product, especially in rainy areas.

For Greg Hoffman, owner of RYZE Adventure Park and previous owner of an indoor Family Entertainment Center (FEC) for eleven years that included a miniature golf course, the decision for a miniature golf course has already proven successful: “We found out that, other than laser tag, it was our number two attraction consistently over the years. And it was such a good attraction because when families came, it was something they could all do together. We had laser tag, but most parents didn’t want to play laser tag with a bunch of kids. Miniature golf was a nice thing where multi-generation families could have fun together. It’s relational. It’s relaxing. It’s competitive. […] It is fun. People love it!” (eap)
