USA: Three US Amusement Parks Equipped with New StarFlyer Attraction

Three US amusement parks – Denver/CO-based Elitch Gardens, Valleyfair in Minneapolis/MN and Largo’s Six Flags America in Maryland – have opened a new StarFlyer attraction from Austrian manufacturer Funtime this summer to send out their guests to a flight in airy heights.

The new attraction at Elitch Gardens, which is located close to the “Twister II” wooden coaster, measures approx. 56 meters (17 stories) in height and offers guests a spectacular view onto the Rocky Mountains nearby. At Valleyfair, the StarFlyer has opened as the park’s second highest attraction with some 70 meters (230 feet) – young visitors up from a height of 1.10 meters (44 inches) can experience the new ride together with their parents. The highest installation of the three new StarFlyers can be found at Six Flags America, where the just under 74 meter (242 feet) high tower is currently the highest attraction in the park.

All three StarFlyers were sold by Ride Entertainment, Funtime’s official distribution partner in the USA, who also installed two of the towers on site. (eap)
