Germany: Experience Art up Close – New "ARTiality" Experience to Be Launched for YULLBE GO

From 2 July, the “ARTiality” art experience will be available as additional content for the Europa-Park Resort’s stationary Virtual Reality experience world YULLBE (cf. cover story in EAP 6/2020). The ten-minute immersion in virtual space by using a YULLBE GO VR headset brings the works of various representatives of Modern Art such as Piet Mondrian, Ida Kerkovius, Oskar Schlemmer and Wassily Kandinsky to life and allows visitors to become part of the art themselves. Guests are also equipped with a hand tracker. While they move freely around the room (Free Roaming), the camera integrated in the VR glasses records the QR codes placed in the room in order to track the exact position of the users throughout the entire time and to map the virtual content accordingly. Guests aged twelve and over can experience YULLBE GO alone and individually, while the 30-minute YULLBE PRO experience (currently: “Mission: Rulantica”) is completed in groups.

In addition, YULLBE GO “ARTiality” will be available at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart from 2 to 4 July. The museum in the capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg has been pursuing a digital strategy for some time now in order to consolidate its pioneering role in art education – this is also where the cooperation with MackNeXT came about. At the Europa-Park Resort, guests can also experience the new YULLBE GO experiences “Valerian” and “Moon to Mars”. (eap)
