Saudi Arabia: SEVEN Partners with Warner Bros. Discovery And Clip 'n Climb

Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) established for the development of Saudi Arabia‘s leisure and entertainment industry, has entered into exclusive collaborations with Warner Bros. Discovery and Clip 'n Climb to house related branded attractions and activity offerings in some of the 21 announced entertainment destinations that SEVEN is developing in various locations across the Kingdom.

The first of these locations will be the SEVEN Entertainment Centre Al Hamra in the equally-named district of the capital of Riyadh: a two-storey indoor centre totalling over 167,000 square meters with ten different experience offerings, for which ground was recently broken. As part of the centre, new collaborations will include the world‘s first Discovery Adventure Centre (in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and Californian creative design and development agency Mycotoo) and, in partnership with Entre-Prises and Theme 3, a Clip ‘n Climb facility with over 35 different colourful challenges.

The Discovery Adventure Centre at the SEVEN Entertainment Centre Al Hamra will cover an area of around 3,000 square metres and will provide both entertainment and educational information for a broad target group through integrated media content from Warner Bros Discovery. The Clip ‘n Climb-branded indoor climbing facility at the Al Hamra Centre in Riyadh will be the first of ten such indoor facilities to be built as part of several SEVEN entertainment centres in Saudi Arabia over the next three years.

In total, SEVEN is investing over 50 billion Saudi Riyal (approx. 12.5 billion Euros) in the development of the 21 above-mentioned entertainment destinations in the country. Other facilities planned for the various locations include cinemas, indoor surfing facilities, e-karting tracks but also retail outlets. (eap)
