Novelties at Dutch Vacation and Leisure Park Duinrell

In the upcoming 2023 season, visitors to the Duinrell vacation and leisure park in the Netherlands can look forward to the following novelties: two new playground elements for younger park guests as well as a renewed themed area and expanded overnight accommodations. The new attractions are for one thing the new playground element “Wauwels Nest” (from dutch manufacturer Speelmaatje), which is named after the park’s mascot “Wauwel the Owl” and consists of several climbing towers, climbing nets in different heights and a slide. Second, in addition to the existing 8.6-by-12-meter bouncy castle, there will be a second 8.6-by-8-meter, slightly smaller bouncing castle on the nostalgic playground, which has been existing since the park’s opening in 1935.

In addition, the area from the play hall to the trampolines will be completely renewed and designed in the style of “Amsterdam canals”. Construction work here is already in full swing, so that an opening in mid-April is targeted. In addition to the new features mentioned so far, Duinrell is also investing in more than 30 new accommodation units at the vacation park, where guests will be able to stay from April 7. (eap)
