USA: New Sports and Entertainment Restaurant Now Open at The Park at Owa

Alabama’s new amusement park The Park at Owa, which was opened on July 21st this year and is being operated by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians (cf. EAP, 1/17 & EAP news from July 21st, 2017), has launched a new restaurant this past weekend. “Groovy Goat” is a sports and entertainment restaurant, offering a variety of delicious food, sports and games. Guests can follow exciting sports competitions and matches on large screens and enjoy over 40 different arcade games.

Orlando-based Sunshine Ventures has developed the new “Groovy Goat” dining concept: “This area of Alabama has started a tourism renaissance and we’re excited to bring to fruition a concept sports fans, families and nearly anyone will find appealing. What the Poarch Band of Creek Indians is building will be a true destination for the entire southeast and we believe a concept like Groovy Goat will become an iconic part of this growth,” said Andrew Gross, CEO of Sunshine Ventures. “Groovy Goat” is located in the Downtown District complex, directly at the front entrance of The Park at Owa and can also be visited by guests without a park ticket.
