Following the success of TimeRide VR Cologne and the opening of the second “TimeRide VR” attraction in Dresden/Germany this past autumn (cf. EAP 5/17 & EAP News from Nov 20th, 2018), the TimeRide GmbH company has just announced to open two further locations in Germany this year, in the cities of Munich and Berlin. Locals and tourists alike can look forward to completely new exhibition concepts and a virtual journey through times: In Munich, the attraction will feature the theme of flying and in Berlin, world history will come alive.

“With Munich and Berlin, we are expanding to two historically highly exciting cities. For both TimeRide attractions we have developed completely new exhibition concepts. Visitors can look forward to many great moments,” commented Jonas Rothe, Managing Director of TimeRide GmbH.

At its TimeRide VR location in Cologne, where guests can take a virtual ride in a historic tram through downtown Cologne at the beginning of the 20th century, the company has already welcomed over 150,000 visitors since its opening in autumn 2017. For the innovative concept which combines VR technology with historical content, the TimeRide GmbH was awarded with the German Tourism Prize 2018, amongst others. (eap)
