France: IAAPA Expo Europe 2019 Kicks Off in Paris!
Today, IAAPA Expo Europe 2019 (formerly: Euro Attractions Show) kicks off at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles convention centre, taking place until Thursday this week with over 600 exhibiting companies showcasing their latest product developments and new solutions for the leisure and attractions market. More than 15,000 industry professionals from over 100 countries are expected to attend this year’s trade show event, which is annually organized by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
This year, too, the three-day trade show event features an extensive framework program: The IAAPA is inviting visitors to tonight’s “Opening Reception” at Jardin d’Acclimatation, which was extensively renovated in 2018 (cp. EAP 5/2019). During the “Leadership Breakfast” on Wednesday morning Nicolas de Villiers, President of Puy du Fou, will talk about the success of his unique park concept and provide an insight into the current expansion plans of his company. Today, the “Lunch & Learn” session will take place with the speakers François Fassier, Director of Leisure Parks Operations at Compagnie des Alpes, and Laurent Bruloy, President of Looping Group.
Our current magazine issue no. 5/2019 provides you with an overview of the main seminars on the program as well as with an outlook to the novelties exhibitors will be presenting. When the show closes on Thursday, attendees leave for the IAAPA post tour event (ticket required!), including a visit to La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux and Puy du Fou in Les Epesses.
