USA: Palace Entertainment to Open New Park Support Facility in Pittsburgh
USA-based Palace Entertainment park operating company, which has been forming part of the Spanish Parques Reunidos Group since 2007, recently announced to open a new company-wide support facility in the Greater Pittsburgh area (Pennsylvania) this month. At its headquarters in Newport Beach (California), Palace will maintain a base of operations with the Finance and Information Technology departments primarily remaining on the West Coast. Its new park support facility, which will initially be based in Pittsburgh’s Eastern suburbs before moving to a permanent location on property the company already owns near Kennywood within the next several years, will be staffed with roughly 25 executive and professional employees. According to the company, the search for executive leadership will begin soon.
“We are thrilled about being in Pittsburgh and excited about the future of our parks. Positioning our support teams in the Steel City better aligns our entire company to create great guest experiences at Kennywood and across our unique portfolio of twenty-one parks and entertainment centres in the United States and Australia,“ said John Reilly, COO at Palace Entertainment.
