Germany: Nordic Relaxation – Rulantica Launches New Spa Offering Today

As of today, guests to RulanticaEuropa-Park's indoor water world, which celebrated its opening almost one year ago (cf. EAP news of 28 Nov 2019 & EAP 1/2020) – can enjoy “Hyggedal“, the new Nordic-themed spa and relaxation area, which covers a ground space of about 1,000 square meters. The new “quiet“ area offers space for up to 100 guests – tickets can be booked online in advance or on site for an additional charge in addition to the Rulantica ticket.

The main offer in Hyggedal are the two textile-free saunas “lille“ and “stor“, two typical Nordic wood saunas, which are open to guests aged 18 years and older. This age restriction also applies to the 200 square meter-large outdoor terrace, which is also a textile free zone. Those who would like to enjoy a more private atmosphere have the opportunity to rent one of a total of 18 “Hygge Sofas“ for an extra charge. These are lounger beds for two persons, separated from the other recliners by a light curtain and offering a view over Rulantica through a panoramic window. For an even more exclusive stay, Rulantica now also offers the “Hygge Supreme Hydda“ suite. This suite offers a private sauna and bath for up to four people and includes other exclusive services (cf. EAP 1/2020). Hyggedal, which is located above the restaurant “Lumålunda“, provides visitors with culinary offerings, too. In the “Hygge Sauna Bar“ and in the “panoraama - the Rulantica Bar“, which by the way is also open to visitors without a ticket to Rulantica, guests can enjoy healthy food and drinks.

Among the other relaxation novelties is the new fitness and sauna area in the adjacent 4-star superior hotel “Krønasår“, where hotel guests are now offered a new 400 square meter bio-sauna (“Sanaraium“), a Finnish sauna and a steam bath. The new relaxation areas on the 110 square meter outdoor terrace and on a further 80 square meters under the roof gable (with a panoramic view over the water adventure world) invite guests to relax. In addition, the hotel’s fitness facilities have also been expanded. (eap)
