"Stranger Things: The Experience" Comes to Yas Island

(eap) Shortly before the launch of the fifth and final season of the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things”, the interactive attraction “Stranger Things: The Experience” will open on Yas Island Abu Dhabi on November 14. The experience immerses fans of the series in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, where they themselves become part of the storyline within the Stranger Things universe.
As with the previous locations in New York, London and Paris, the concept on Yas Island combines familiar sets, live actors and special effects to recreate the atmosphere of the series as authentically as possible. Visitors will pass through iconic settings – from the “Hawkins Lab” to the mysterious tunnels of the “Upside Down” – before concluding their journey in the so-called “Mix-Tape” area, designed in the style of the 1980s. There, themed food offerings, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise items and further surprises await guests.

Netflix continues to expand its offering in the field of live entertainment: In addition to temporary formats such as Stranger Things: The Experience, the first two permanent Netflix House locations are set to open this winter – on November 12 at King of Prussia (Philadelphia) and on December 11 at Galleria Dallas (Texas). These will offer permanent experiential worlds dedicated to popular series and films from the streaming provider. ■
