© Photo: Global Village Dubai (eap) Global Village in Dubai has started its 30th season: until 10 May 2026, visitors of all ages can discover the new offerings of the multicultural destination, ranging from shows and rides to culinary experiences and craftsmanship.

In a total of 30 pavilions and themed areas, more than 90 cultures from around the world are represented. “Fiesta Street” returns with an expanded selection of vibrant kiosks, the former “Railway Market” has been renamed “Dessert District” and now offers elevated dining options. “Road of Asia” has also been renamed, namely as “Asia Boulevard”, featuring new gastronomy and retail offerings.

Among the ride and experience attractions, an immersive walkthrough is celebrating its debut this season: “The Dragon Kingdom”, featuring eleven themed rooms, each presenting a different challenge. Fantasy, mystery and adventure are set to come together here. In keeping with the ongoing Halloween festivities in many places, Global Village also offers a permanent spooky attraction for adults this season: “The Horror Hotel” (formerly “House of Fear”) returns with a new design and an updated experience.

The area in front of the Egyptian Pavilion, stretching all the way to the Iranian Pavilion, is being redesigned as “Gardens of the World”, where exotic flowers and landmark sights from around the globe can be found. Another special highlight of this season is a cake-shaped monument celebrating the 30th anniversary, installed at Arabian Square.

Visitors can also look forward to new show formats, including the stunt show “Fast Live Spectacular”, in which stunt teams compete in spectacular fashion. A new fire and light show is performed next to the “Dragon Lake”, and another new light show can be admired opposite the main stage at Global Village.

Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Global Village operator Dubai Holding Entertainment, summarizes: “Global Village has evolved from a local concept into a true international phenomenon […]. Last season alone, we welcomed more than 10.5 million guests, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for entertainment and tourism. As we mark the milestone of Season 30, we are excited to open our doors once again with an unparallelled mix of attractions, shopping, dining and world-class entertainment experiences for visitors from every corner of the globe.” ■
