“Bubble Planet” Experiential Museum Comes to Cologne
(eap) After stops in metropolises such as Los Angeles, London, Paris and Berlin, the exhibition format Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience is now also coming to North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. From May 9 until early November 2026, the experience world is set to run at the Coloneum of MMC Studios in Cologne-Ossendorf.

The format of Belgian exhibition planner Exhibition Hub is conceived less as a traditional exhibition and more as a multisensory experience world that focuses on interactivity and visual staging. Across a total of twelve themed areas, visitors are to be offered, among other things, a large ball pool, an “Infinity Room”, VR applications, optical illusions as well as various light installations, which are also aimed at creating social media-friendly photo opportunities.
With the presentation of “Bubble Planet”, an exhibition will be realized at MMC Studios for the first time, which have recently begun cooperating with Explorado Group as a local organizer (cf. EAP news 12 Mar 2026). Andreas Waschk, CEO of Explorado Group, explains: “The Coloneum in Cologne is opening to exhibitions for the first time – and we could not imagine a better format for this premiere than Bubble Planet. It is a great pleasure for us to create an interactive experience at this special location that appeals to all senses and adds a genuine attraction to Cologne as an entertainment destination. We are pleased to continue the long success story of blockbuster exhibitions and immersive experiences from the Odysseum at the Coloneum.” ■
