The new water park, operated by the non-profit social welfare fund Comfenalco Santander, has been equipped by Canadian manufacturer ProSlide. The mix ranges from a four-lane “RallyRACER” and a “Dueling PIPEline” racing slides to a “CannonBOWL 30”, a “TORNADO 18” and a “SkyBOX” with free-fall element, as well as a “RideHOUSE 200” water play structure for children. In addition, the new leisure facility, described as the “largest water park in eastern Colombia”, also features restaurants, wellness amenities and sports facilities.

“Projects like Los Trinitarios demonstrate how water parks are evolving globally. Operators are increasingly building complete destinations that combine attractions, relaxation, and shared experiences into a single offering. This park is a strong example of that shift within Colombia’s tourism market,” explains Aaron Wilson, SVP Business Development EMEA & LATAM at ProSlide. The opening is also seen as reflecting continued investment in Colombia’s leisure sector, where large-scale recreational developments are increasingly being positioned as regional tourism drivers.
“Comfenalco Santander had a clear vision to create a park that would serve families across the region while elevating the standard for water park entertainment in Colombia. We’re proud to see guests now experiencing these attractions for the first time,” adds Wilson. Throughout the project, ProSlide worked closely with the Comfenalco Santander team on planning, ride integration and development support to help bring the water park to life. ■
