At the center of SNORRI 4D is the water park Rulantica’s mascot of the same name. The film takes viewers to the mystical island of Rulantica and into its mysterious underwater world, where they encounter its inhabitants in completely new and previously unseen ways. The film is directed by Thierry Marchand, who was nominated for an Oscar for the short film “Oktapodi”. The orchestral music was recorded at the Teldex Studios in Berlin and specially composed by Hendrik Schwarzer. The film is produced by Michael Mack. Production is being carried out under the direction of MACK Magic at the studios of the company’s in-house animation studio MACK Animation in Hanover, Germany which had previously realized the film “GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE” centered around the Europa-Park mascots “Ed & Edda”.
The new TV series DINO MATES – Ferien mit Madame Freudenreich is based on the Europa-Park family attraction “Madame Freudenreich Curiosités” as well as on the associated picture book series “Dinosaurier in Omas Garten”, published by Coppenrath Verlag. The series is a co-production of MACK Magic, the Hamburg-based label Edel Kids and the content provider KiKA. Here, too, Michael Mack is responsible as producer. The series was developed under his leadership together with his production team around Anne Tintinger and Tobias Mundinger (cf. EAP News of 29 Oct 2024). ■
