18th Million Guest Welcomed at Austria’s Swarovski Crystal Worlds

(eap) The Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds) in Wattens, Austria, welcomed their 18 millionth visitor last week since opening in 1995. To mark the milestone, Stefan Isser, Managing Director of D. Swarovski Tourism Services GmbH, personally welcomed a family from Milan as the anniversary guests: “Welcoming our 18 millionth guest this year is further proof of the continuous development of Swarovski Crystal Worlds. As can be felt in the Chambers of Wonder, this place combines creative expression at the highest artistic level with an international audience that comes here to give time and space to their imagination. […]” As part of the celebration, the family received a voucher for an overnight stay for two people in Innsbruck.

Over the past six years, the share of online ticket sales is said to have increased from four to 40 percent. In 2025, online tickets were booked from 107 countries, led by Germany (40 percent), followed by Austria (20 percent) and Italy (nine percent). The digital services are set to be further expanded in the future. The wide range of countries of origin was said to underline the broad international reach of the Swarovski Kristallwelten. ■
