Alejandro del Barrio Barruso Appointed New General Manager of Isla Mágica

(eap) Isla Mágica in Seville, Spain, has a new General Manager: Alejandro del Barrio Barruso (photo) has taken over the position from Guillermo Cruz García and will henceforth be responsible for the further development of the theme park, which is operated by the French Looping Group.

With a degree in economics, del Barrio brings over 14 years of experience in the leisure industry. Most recently, he served as Head of Operations at Parque de Atracciones in Madrid. In addition, he held senior positions at Parque Warner Madrid and Parque Warner Beach. His professional expertise includes operational processes at leading leisure destinations as well as areas such as merchandising and games. Furthermore, del Barrio contributed to international growth projects of the Parques Reunidos group – in particular in Dubai (UAE).

Cruz García, who stepped down after twelve years as General Manager of Isla Mágica, will remain connected to the park and will take on strategic tasks within the Looping Group. ■
