Aqua Salza Introduces Digital Signage Concept

(eap) The Austrian leisure pool and wellness complex Aqua Salza, located about 30 minutes from Salzburg, has replaced its existing analogue information displays with a comprehensive digital signage concept. The aim of the transition is to optimize guest communication, thereby further enhancing the quality of the visitor experience, while also improving internal workflows for staff.

Photo: Courtesy of echion AG Large-format screens have been installed at key locations throughout the leisure pool and wellness complex: In the corridor adjacent to the gastronomy area, a video wall consisting of two 55-inch displays now replaces several previously separate information boards. Maps, notices and promotions are now presented in a consolidated format. In the restaurant, two 43-inch screens provide information on current offers and prices, with updates easily managed via the associated content management system. Communication within the leisure pool itself has also been modernized: A video wall replaces a sauna infusion schedule board as well as individual screens, enabling daily updated sauna schedules, events and service information to be presented centrally and clearly.

The implementation of the digital communication concept was carried out in cooperation with echion AG. In addition to the technical components – a total of six Samsung displays (43–55 inches) and three echion players – the digital signage specialist also developed various content formats designed to combine information and experience. These include animated content showcasing offers such as vouchers or merchandise items, as well as atmospheric visuals tailored to different areas of the facility.

In addition to a leisure pool with a dedicated children’s area, Aqua Salza also features a diverse sauna landscape including steam baths, offers aqua fitness classes and provides wellness and massage treatments. ■
