Aqua Splash, Marineland / France: New Slide Installed

After having installed two extreme slides supplied by manufacturer Polin two years ago (cf. EAP issue 6/2009), the French waterpark on the Côte d’Azur again decided for a slide from this company. The new attraction is a hybrid version of Polin’s „Dragero“ slide introduced in 2009 (cf. EAP issue 1/2010). The slide, specially designed for Aqua Splash, starts with three open multiracer lanes with a big drop following an uphill section. Then the slide transforms into three enclosed aquatube slide sections which finally end in an open splashing pool. The new waterslide’s high capacity will help to avoid long queue lines. (eap)
