Austria: AV Stumpfl Awarded as Upper Austria’s Best Family Business

AV Stumpfl, one of the leading companies in the field of screens, multi-image displays and control equipment for the entertainment industry with headquarters in Wallern, has been awarded as Upper Austria’s best family business on May 17th, 2016. The award is an initative organized by the financial newspaper Wirtschaftsblatt and has been handed over to AV Stumpfl in the “Aula der Wissenschaften” (Eng. “assembly hall of sciences”) in Austria’s capital Vienna. “The award is a recognition of our growth and success and we’re delighted to have won,” said Tobias Stumpfl, CEO at AV Stumpfl. The company has been founded 40 years ago by Ulli and Reinhold Stumpfl and is today managed by the next generation, Tobias Stumpfl, CEO and Fabian Stumpfl, Project Management Sales and HR. Earlier this year, the company has already won the award “Great Place to Work^®”, which has been conferred to Austrian companies with a special working place culture since 2002. The winners are determined through a yearly employee survey. AV Stumpfl has received the award for the second time since 2006. (eap)
