Austria: AVITA 5-Star Superior Resort Bad Tatzmannsdorf Introduces Digital Recliner Reservation System

Who doesn’t know the stereotype of German tourits sneaking out of their hotel rooms in the morning in order to reserve recliners at the pool by putting towels on them? In order to avoid this habit and the cumbersome search for a recliner, the AVITA 5-Star Superior Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf introduces the “digital towel“. With this digital recliner reservation system from Austrian software provider The Assistant Company (TAC), guests can now reserve their recliner options in advance of their stay at the thermal bathing facility. The booking system is offered via the TAC webshop, where guests can identify and book free recliners. Furthermore, other services can be purchased via the reservation system.
“Our goal was to give every guest of the AVITA Resort, whether hotel or day guest, the opportunity to reserve a recliner online in advance of their stay in order to further optimise the guest’s comfort. Through the digital map of the recliner locations in the TAC webshop and the addition of visibility levels for different guest categories, we are now able to offer our guests the comprehensive and exclusive service they desire,“ comments Thomas Prisching, Head of Marketing at the AVITA Resort.
