BELANTIS: Details of “Idefix’ Adventure Land” Revealed
(eap) Following the announcement by Compagnie des Alpes (CdA) to transform its BELANTIS theme park, located near Leipzig, into the first Parc Astérix outside France by 2030/31, as well as the presentation of “Idefix’ Adventure Land” as the first development phase for the new season (see our Park Report in EAP 2/2026), further concrete details about the new themed area have now been revealed.
The offering will be aimed at families with younger children. The following attractions, among others, are planned:
- “Idefix’ River Ride”: a mini water ride by the French manufacturer Reverchon
• “Freshling Driving School”: a “Speedway”-type ride from the Italian manufacturer Zamperla
• “Aerobix Flying Machine”: a Magic Bike Ride in which guests can determine their own flight height through their own movement, creating an interactive ride experience (also by Zamperla)
• “Soapbox Whirl”: a Go Go Bounze ride featuring dynamic up-and-down movements
• “Idefix’ Hideout”: a nature-oriented adventure playground, which will be built by Spielart from Thuringia (Germany) and will offer a variety of climbing and movement elements
• “Köstlix”: a kiosk with a lakeside terrace for relaxation
Idefix’ Adventure Land is set to be developed in the course of the 2026 season. Further information on the new attractions that other European theme and amusement parks have in store for visitors this year can be found in our Park Report in the current EAP magazine issue (March/April). ■
