Brand-New Legoland Malaysia Water Park Opens in October

Legoland Malaysia, opened about one year ago, will open its Legoland Water Park on October 21st, 2013 to further enhance its development into a resort. The new themed water park will feature more than 20 slides and over 70 Lego models. Some of the highlights of the interactive and fully Lego-themed water park include the popular “Build-A-Raft River” lazy river and “Joaker Soaker”, an interactive water playground with numerous elements like water cannons and a tipping bucket. The new Lego water park will reportedly be the largest Legoland Water Park when opened and the first to have a second gate. This means that visitors will be able to enjoy the two parks separately or in combination. Besides the waterslides and other attractions, the new facility will also feature two restaurants, private cabanas for rent and a retail store on-site. The opening of a Legoland Hotel will follow early next year. (eap)
